憂患與安樂

從前有一位國王出巡，帶了一位新隨從同行。
隨從從未見過海洋，也沒有坐過船，結果船一路在海浪中搖晃，使得他暈頭轉向，哭哭啼啼，驚嚇不已。
雖然同船的人不斷安慰隨從，還是無法停止他的哭鬧與恐懼。
國王被煩得快受不了時，船上有一位哲學家說話了：「國王陛下，請允許我一試，我可以使他安靜下來。」
國王立刻答應的說：「就試吧！只要能讓他停止哭鬧就好。」
哲學家立刻叫人把那隨從抛到海裡去，讓他不斷沈浮，簡短時間過後，才讓人把他救起，隨從上船之後，便坐在一個角落裡，安靜得不再作聲。
國王很贊許哲學家的這個主意，便開口問道：「你為什麼會想到這個辦法？奧妙何在？」
哲學家說：「不知道滅頂的痛苦，便不知穩坐船上的可貴。就像一個人總要經歷過憂患，才會知道安樂的價值。」

金鳥與銀鳥

有一個樵夫，每天上山砍材，日復一日，過著平凡的日子。
某日樵夫跟平常一樣上山砍材，在路上撿到一隻受傷的銀鳥，銀鳥全身包裹著閃閃發光的
銀色羽毛，樵夫欣喜說︰「啊! 我一輩子從來沒有看過這麼漂亮的鳥！」於是把銀鳥帶回
家，專心替銀鳥療傷。
在療傷的日子裡，銀鳥每天唱歌給樵夫聽，樵夫過著快樂的日子。
有一天，鄰人看到樵夫的銀鳥，告訴樵夫他看過金鳥，金鳥比銀鳥漂亮上千倍，而且，歌
也唱得比銀鳥更好聽。樵夫想著，原來還有金鳥啊！
從此樵夫每天只想著金鳥，也不再仔細聆聽銀鳥清脆的歌聲，日子越來越不快樂。
一天傍晚，樵夫坐在門外，望著金黃的夕陽，想著金鳥到底有多美? 此時，銀鳥的傷康復，
準備離去。

銀鳥飛到樵夫的身旁，最後一次唱歌給樵夫聽，樵夫聽完，只是很感慨的說︰「你的歌聲
雖然好聽，但是比不上金鳥；你的羽毛雖然很漂亮，但是比不上金鳥的美麗。」
銀鳥唱完歌，在樵夫身旁繞了三圈告別，向金黃的夕陽飛去。
樵夫望著銀鳥，突然發現銀鳥在夕陽的照射下，變成了美麗的金鳥; 他夢寐以求的金鳥，
就在那裡，只是，金鳥已經飛走了，飛得遠遠的，再也不會回來。
人常常在不知不覺之中成了樵夫，自己卻不知道。不知道...原來金鳥就在自己身邊......

天使為什麼能夠飛?

世界上的很多事情是說不清楚的。


在一家醫學院學習的梅子居然和她的另外5位寢友到了同一所醫院實習。 因為她們學習的專業相同，她們都被安排在婦產科實習。
在學校能夠一起學習生活，實習又能夠在一起，這讓6姐妹非常歡喜。


但沒有多久，一個問題殘酷地擺到 6姐妹面前，這所醫院最後只能留用其中一人。能夠留在這所省內最高等級的醫院是6姐妹的共同渴望，但她們不得不面對「有你無我，有我無你」的殘酷競爭與淘汰。臨近畢業的日子越來越近，6姐妹的較量也越來越激烈，但她們始終相互激勵著，相互祝福著。


院方為了確定哪一名被留用，舉行了一次考核，結果出來了，面對同樣出色的6姐妹，院方一時也不知道該如何取捨。
但現實是，院方只能夠留用一人。 6姐妹中，開始有人表示自己家在外省，更喜歡畢業後能夠回到家鄉；有的人乾脆說家鄉的小縣城已經有醫院同意接收她 ……美麗的謊言感動著一個又一個人。

這天，6姐妹都突然接到一個相同的緊急通知，一名待產婦就要生產，醫院需要立刻前往她家中救治。
6姐妹急匆匆地上了急救車。

一名副院長、一名主任醫生、 6名實習醫生、2名護士同時去搶救一名待產婦，如此隆重的陣勢讓6姐妹都感覺到一種前所未有的緊張。
有人悄悄地問院長，是什麼樣的人物，需要這樣興師動眾? 院長簡單地解釋道：
「這名產婦的身分和情況都有些特殊，讓你們都來，也是想讓你們都不要錯過這個機會，你們可都要認真觀察學習。」
車內一片沉寂。待產婦家很偏僻，急救車左拐右拐終於到達時，待產婦已經折騰得滿頭汗水。

醫護人員七手八腳把待產婦抬上急救車後，發現了一個問題，車上已經人挨人，待產婦的丈夫上不來了。
人們知道，待產婦到達醫院進行搶救，是不能沒有親屬在身邊辦理一些相關手續的。
人們都下意識地看向副院長，副院長低頭為待產婦檢查著，頭都未抬地說道：「快開車!」
所有人都怔住了。不知道該如何是好。


這時候，梅子突然跳下了車，示意待產婦的丈夫上車。


急救車風馳電掣地開往醫院，等梅子氣喘吁吁趕回到醫院的時候，已經是半小時後了。
在醫院門口，她被參加急救的副院長攔住了，副院長問她：「這麼難得的學習機會，你為什麼跳下了車 ?」
梅子擦著額頭的汗水回答道：「車上有那麼多醫生、護士，缺少我不會影響搶救的。但沒有病人家屬，可能會給搶救帶來必要的影響。」

3天后，院方的留用結果出來了，梅子成為幸運者。


院長說出了理由：「 3天前的那一場急救是一場意外的測試。 將來無論你們走到哪裡，無論從事什麼職業，都應該記住一句話，天使能夠飛翔，是因為把自己看得很輕。」

天使為什麼會飛翔？是因為它把自己看得很輕。


相信嗎！人如果能拋卻自我　拋卻世間所有負擔與束縛 也同樣的會很輕 …　也同樣的能夠飛翔... ..................
現在做不到　是因為不相信！是因為還有強大的自我！


美麗不是一種錯誤，問題在於如何呈現美麗；
財富不是一種罪惡，問題在於如何使用財富；
智慧不是一種負擔，問題在於如何運用智慧；
選舉不是一種過錯，問題在於如何選賢舉能；
成就夥伴不是一種陷害，問題在於如何支持夥伴；
成就團體不是一種勉強，問題在於如何提升團體。

See beyond the imperfections

Once upon a time there was a girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the fourth boyfriend the most and adorned him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the third boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her second boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girl's first boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him!

One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, 'I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, will I be a alone.'

Thus, she asked the fourth boyfriend, 'I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?
'No way!', replied the fourth boyfriend, and he walked away without another word. His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.

The sad girl then asked the third boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?'
'No!', replied the third boyfriend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else!' Her heart sank and turned cold

She then asked the second boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me.. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the second boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go.. ' The girl looked up, and there was her first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'

In truth, you have four boyfriends in your lives:

Your fourth boyfriend is your body. No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die.

Your third boyfriend is your possessions, status and wealth.When you die, it will all go to others..

Your second boyfriend is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave.

And your first boyfriend is your spirit. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world.

However, your spirit is the only thing that will follow you where ever you go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of you that will follow you to the throne of God and continue with you throughout Eternity.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

白開水

茶水間裡看到同事拿著漂亮的花瓷杯不禁讚美了幾句。

女同事回答：花了兩千元買的，當初覺得漂亮，看久了也沒感覺了。

我笑說：難怪男士們娶了如花似玉的美嬌娘，過幾年還會發生外遇。

人是不是都喜新厭舊，當你沒有時好希望擁有它；屬於你以後在身邊久了,又開始想新的...

對於已經習慣了的人事物，總是忘了他們的好和他們的重要，一切視為理所當然；鎮日埋首於工作或應酬的人，也總是忘了身邊最親最愛的人才是最需要關懷的。美好而重要的他們就像是白開水，必要、方便、養生，近在眼前隨手可得，所以反而容易忽略。

試試一天都不要喝白開水吧，當最乾渴時，你會發現白開水有多麼重要！
